North Dakota is the only state with NO voter registration, so bring an accepted ND ID to the polls. Two constitutional measures are on the ballot. Absentee applications should reach your county by Nov 2 at the absolute latest; request at least a week early to allow mail time.

  • Constitutional Measure 1: 60% Threshold for Amendments
    Raises the threshold for approving a constitutional amendment from a simple majority to sixty percent (HCR 3003).
  • Constitutional Measure 2: School Lunch Funding
    Adds a new section to Article VIII of the North Dakota Constitution related to funding of school lunches.
For students: UND and NDSU students need an ND-issued ID showing their current residential address to vote here. Out-of-state students without one should vote absentee in their home state instead.
